What's the chance we can get back to talking racing?
What's the chance the "losers" won't whine?
What's the chance the "winners" won't gloat?
What's the chance everyone will realize that we've witnessed history, not just because of the outcome.
What's the chance people will put on their big boy/girl pants and work together to do what is best for the masses not the few?
What's the chance this passion will carry over the next 4 yrs and beyond?
What's the chance each individual will do their part, not hold out their hand?
What's the chance this will fall on deaf ears?

I'm sure it will. But you know, the Dems had to take their lumps too in 2000, when the election was anything but a clear victory for the man on his way out now. So it goes both ways, and people will always be unhappy, no matter who the nation chooses.

At least this time, it is abundantly clear who the nation chose. And I for one am very glad of that. I did not want to see a close election, no matter who won. I think that would have made the hard feelings on either side even worse.
