Where have they gone?

Used to love watching Ron Milton and Dean Shirley battle it out at J'ville and Shaheens in Springfield.

DirtSurfer,
I did some looking around for Greg Wooley, and I found an article that said he shared the rookie of the year title in 1984 with Mark Kinser. If this is true then he didnt get those kind of honors by accident! He must have been doing something right. I think you were a bit harsh on this guy! True he may never make a scab on Steve Kinser's ***** but he wasnt a pushover either.
This wont account for much but his car was awesome if I remember correctly and his T-Shirt that I just happen to still have, Was top of the line! The clothes dont make the man, but this guy was no fluke or Johnny Nobody at one time. Just wondered why he "vapored" like he did. My guess is the ever popular $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ or lack there of!

Okay, I guess it sounded more harsh than I meant it too. I do think it was the $$$$ issues. I don't think he was ever a contender for a championship and that translated into less $$ and a decision to stay at home and race. It definately seemed to be a cashflow problem.....Oh, and ditto on the shirt-and the car too for that matter.

Thanks for the info on Schrader/Adams, opnwhlmnd!

Remember Randy Bateman? He was from Texas.no he is from Ill and still racing some champ cars and stuff
If that is the same Randy Bateman, he is from Murphysboro. I did some research last night. Only thing is, he drives #51 sprinter and #55 Silver crown car. If it was him, He raced a white #38 at Farmington. I guess he could've been a hired gun at the time. Also found out that he's been racing for 28-29 years in the open wheel cars, so it could have easily been the same guy.

Hello everyone If anyone could let me know where to find some of the older drivers from sfcr Like when Dean Jr and Dean Adams and Tubby Black I would like pics and news headlines anything Please thanks for your help
