drivers

the 10 would either be doug kliene or bill shaw and the 2 could it be schrader or pat walsh i know bakc in the day both had a number 2

:)Right, the #10 would for sure be Bill Shaw,
the #8 is Jimmy O'Connor, former Kankakee/Crown Point promoter,
and the 20th with NorthGrand on the side is Paul Shafer, yes the same one from the Monster Trucks!!!

And I should know who the #19 is, but have once again gone brain dead:rolleyes:

Thanks for sharing!!

If you are talking about the Schafer that owned Bearfoot that was Fred, Paul is the band leader on the Letterman Show.

Paul Shafer is correct, watched him race many many times, saw him at Vermilion County Speedway one time lap the field, TWICE!!! kind of a (testicles) to the wall kind of driver....
Correct also on the Monster Patrol, which followed the Mud Patrol from the Mud Drags stuff, which is where Paul went after he quit late models....
And the car number was actually 20th.... I don't know why....
And the NorthGrand on the side of his cars was his Chicago area wrecking yards

I seem to remember a lot of his cars having a Kermit the Frog image painted on the back of the car.
