just wondering who most thick is going to be able to win the hell tour this year.my vote goes to korte but 4 points is less than a spot so its gonna be close who ever it is.

I'd like to say erb, however korte was on a mission at shepps to get to 3rd from 12th. If he drives like that he will be hard to beat.

I really believed that going into this year, Randy Korte would feel like he had something to prove. He's definately driving like he's got something to prove. The guy just won't quit. In past years, if it was a bad night he'd pull off after a few laps and save his stuff for another night. This year (on the Hell Tour atleast) he's holding nothing back. It's paying off too. With 3 races left he has a slim 4 point lead in the UMP Summer Nationals points.

One thing to note, the championship pays $25,000. Second pays $10,000. That's a big difference. These two drivers have been racing each other clean so far, but if they are this close Saturday, I'd expect things to become a little less friendly on the track. I wish I could be at Oakshade Saturday to see it.

BTW, I'm picking Korte

This is one of the toughest series to pick a winner on. Hats off to Korte & Erb for putting up one helluva fight for the money and bragging rights.

I think Korte has this one, barely, but he has it.

has erb or korte ran strong at the last 3 tracks in the past?shame pevely got cancelled it coulda helped randy out alot.

I don't recall either one of them having any real bad luck so far like broken equipment, getting spun out, wrecking, etc. With 3 races left if they can keep it up it's a toss up on who will win. All one of them has to do is slip up and.........

I'm gonna say Korte....it would be nice to see someone other than UMP's golden boy win for a change.....Korte has been driving good in the LM and the Mod this year

Korte had bad luck at belleville when his tire went flat on the parade laps. He was going to start on the pole but went to the back. I would have liked to see them race at Pevely but I wouldn't just hand that win to Korte because Erb is always strong at pevely. Both of these guys are good no matter what track they show up at.

Good luck to both.

Yep, I forgot about that. They say he was 4 seconds slower than best lap tonight at LaSalle too. Said he had a terrible lap somehow.

As you can see, I am an Erb fan. That dosen't mean I'm just gonna say he'll win without looking over things first. This has been a great points battle so far and I give the best of luck to both drivers because Korte is actually my second favorite driver. But Erb seems to always pull these off. He is one of the best when it comes to running these midwestern tracks. Korte is a fantastic driver as well but I think he will fall just short, maybe less than ten points.

1st-Erb
2nd-Korte
3rd-Babb
