Who's fault was the wreck in the Late Model feature Saturday Night at Highland? I heard at least four different opinions so let's see what everyone thinks. This is not meant to bash anyone just to see what a majority of the fans who saw it think.
 
Kortes.....he came flying into turn 3 and rear ended Dondero(????).

Zobrist was running underneath making the pass on Dondero, and then Korte came flying into turn 3 I guess hoping to run high or something, but whatever he was doing was stupid.
 
In my opinion and remember this is my opinion. I feel Zobrist was at fault. didnt quite see the point in runnin dondero up top when there was easily a lane and a half on the botom(racing room). i dont know if any one else saw that. grant it korte bustin in up top either. if i where to have made the call i wouldve called it on zobrist. awsome job by kloos with his feature win. very smooth driver.

I thought these forums were to discuss racing and wha everyone thinks. If you can;t handle that then get the F* out.

I think it was Korte's fault, and I am going to stick with my beliefs, and I accept the fact that others will think differently. Some people need to mature a little and realize they is really no exact real anwser to this poll, its just a poll to see who people think is at fault.
 
Just a racing deal to sad it happened but knew it would once they got into lapping traffic and Korte was catching Chad ,if not for lap traffic would of been interesting finish between the 2 of them.
 
People should be able to state their opinon of what they saw. I clearly saw zorbirst hit dondaro going into turn 3 and up into to korte.
 
I think it was my fault. I only go to Highland to watch under the full moon on the last weekend of any given month, wearing my lucky undies, carrying my lucky penny, with a rabbits foot strapped to my belt, and that is the only time anyone crashes in the LM's.

I gotta stop going to Highland. I'm a jinx.

If you people are going to make acusations then get your "Sh#%" straight. It was clearly the lap cars fault. That was Kortes only attempt to make the pass because it was a one lane track. if he didn't make the attempt there, Zobrist would have won. The track was so dry slick no one could pass, and the cushion looked to rough to carry any momentum around the top. Dondero should of been black flagged. Lap cars need to pick there line and stay there. I also found it kind of depresing to go and watch a dirt race on a damp cool night and have mid August conditions.

If you would have been watching Dondero ran the center line the hole night. The track was not a one groove track in the features.
 
I think the fault of this wreck lies with whoever decided to let 20 Late Models run the feature!!!!!!!!!!!! I say so because Dondero should NOT have been in the feature because they were only taking the top 2 out of the consi!!! But for some unknown reason, they took 4 and let 20 LM run the feature!! Didn't do this for the modifieds though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I thought 20 was the standard to start at Highland???? This was only my 4th time there in two years, so I'm not 100% clear on what they start.

i was sitting in the stand straight across from turn 3, from what i saw zobe ran dondero up the race track, leaving randy no where to go except into the wall, so i would have to blame zobe on this on for pushing dondero up the track, but other than that great job Kloos on your fist win at highland (i agree with Dirtjet about letting the 3-4 finishers of the consi race in the feature, should not of happened)

I agree with Dirtjet as well ... track management $ucks.

Dondero and Bingham should NOT have started the race.

Can anyone answer why the started 4 instead of 2 in Late Models and not any other class that ran semi's? Who made that call?
 
18 late models or 20 late models the same crap could have happen. It doesn't take long for fast front cars to catch up and start trying to lap the field.
