Why are the threads getting deleted?

I was wanting to know why the threads were getting deleted about the C.A.R.S. series. There was nobody putting nobody down. All it was, was wanting to know the truths and the facts of the 10,000 to win points fund. Everyone is putting it off and saying that nobody has a clue about it. But Al announced at the last years banquet it would be 10,000 and now they are saying things was never said.

Nobody was told in the middle of the season there was no 10,000 point fund.

Where did the money go that was raised for the cars series from the crate car raffle and the Shannon Babb Haunting trip! WHO DID WIN THE TRIP AND WAS THIS A WAY TO PUT MONEY IN THERE POCKET.

I AM A MEMBER OF THE CARS SERIES AND ALL IM WANTING IS SOME ANSWERS.

Yeah, Why are all posts getting deleted? Somebody dont like to see the truth in writing.....if AK announced it at last years Banquet, some how he has forgotten or denies that he had committed to the Ten Grand for the 2007 Points Championship!
Yeah, what about the Shannon Babb Hunt Raffle? Maybe that didnt have anything to do with the Cars Series.
Hum, How many tickets were sold to that @ $10 a ticket? Did someone win it ?
Sounds like a SCAM to me!

I NEVER announce that 10k would be paid. If you know the facts you know that I never liked the 10k and only agreed to it because it was the first year. If you are going to allege something then back it up with proof. It also doesnt matter who promised the 10k because there will not be suficient funds. I donated $16000 of my own money to last years points fund but I will not this year. These werent CARS funds these were my own personal funds!
A couple more facts. There were much fewer tickets sold for this years raffle. Very few would have been sold if not for Ranee Dearing taking over the sales. (We paid her a dollar a ticket to sell them.)Look back at prior post about the sale if you dont believe that.

In addition there were less than 100 Babb tickets sold. Brett Conrad from St Louis won. The trip is scheduled for January 7th. When you see Shannon next feel free to verify with him.

Rick Heck and I are still in the process of determining the monies available for the fund, including our final Hoosier monies. Once we do we will provide detail on the raffles to our CARS members.

Good luck to all our past CARS guys next year under UMP.

The Crate Series has been bery successful the last 2 years. This past year the cars almost doubled. So why wouldnt you pay what you did last year? Nick raced his but off and thats a fact. Al, if my kid won the championship i would want to know when the $$ was coming also as would you. Everyone in the CARS association deserves to paid that supported them all year. Im not bashing anyone here cause i know all parties involved. Not just 1 party has been bashed or done bashing, its all parties involved have done it. Personally i would not even comment on anything but on the phone if i were involved in it cause it makes all of you look really bad no matter what. Im sure this thread will get locked down like the other ones also.

I know for a fact that the car was given away . A buddy of mine i work with father has the car and Al or some of his crew did indeed delivery it ,
 
When it comes to donations its seems that once you donate a little it soon becomes not enough. Sometimes the most undeserving recipients of donations return again and again to take advantage of your generosity. My cat is very good at this. The fat cats are the best beggars. The problem only gets worse when someone else donates your money for you.
Perhaps many of the fans of the CARS series could open their own heart (and pocket book) and make a donation to the CARS point fund. I'm considering redirecting $50 I was planning to donate at church tomorrow.
Consideration over. I never did like people who have a problem with other's generosity.
 
Sound like this series has to many big heads. Guess we will not have to worry about it in 2008. Makes yo want to go for ump all the way. Now Im 100% for UMP.
 
2x mom nick left my house today and i was telling me about the series that reed is racing that uses the 604 crate the web site is www.advanceracingassociation.com the people are good people to be around and stand behind there series and the racers in it. the best to you and ron happy hoildays larry

Looks to me that this is an asphalt group rather than dirt. So I miss the point to this point other than the engine deal.

Jack, I believe all Larry was trying to say is that the series supports the drivers in the series, instead of deciding they don't like them & are not going to do what was promised.
 
Changed my mind after post..... Sorry.... I thought about it and there is a can of worms in it. And I 'd hate to open it :)
 
that was the point it is asphalt and not dirt maybe a differet way to go. and use some of what you got not alot of people saying what they really feel about this cars stuff on here but when you run into them out on the street its a different story i have had 6 calls wanting to sell me there 604. they all said the same thing about next year same people same crap

Lisa, I agree, a lot of these posts are just down right slanderous!! I don't know why some people would post stuff like they do??? I wonder what some people would do if some FACTS were posted on here??? Man could you imagine??? I can.......
 
I think it is about time for the facts to come out. I feel that the crate cars were teched. I feel that a lot of thing were kept in check. I think the guys in the field were doing their jobs. I feel that the majority of the racers did a great job. I don't think there were many that were doing things that wasn't allowed. The most of the drivers that I dealt with wanted to win and do it fair. If someone cheated and won what have they accomplished???? I think ump will try to do a good job. I think ump will look at bodies ect more than CARS did. I think that if someone is found with illegal part within the sealed bolts then a large fine and suspension is fair.
