I think some of you need to sit back and put yourself in this
position. I think because someone was so generous the 1st year to make this a
great start to an organization and using their own money everyone assumed it
would happen again. Then he gets slammed the most after he stepped down from
the organization this year. You guys amaze me. Especially the ones doing
the slammin.

When it comes to donations its seems that once you donate a little it soon becomes not enough. Sometimes the most undeserving recipients of donations return again and again to take advantage of your generosity. My cat is very good at this. The fat cats are the best beggars. The problem only gets worse when someone else donates your money for you.
Perhaps many of the fans of the CARS series could open their own heart (and pocket book) and make a donation to the CARS point fund. I'm considering redirecting $50 I was planning to donate at church tomorrow.
Consideration over. I never did like people who have a problem with other's generosity.

Maybe you two should know the FACTS before you post about something! No one assumed the generosity would be shown again....It is called a commitment!!!! If you don't know what you are talking about why stir the pot??? Certain people made certain commitments & I can prove what I say.....can you?

WHY WOULD YOU QUOTE THE SAME PERSON'S(DIRTGIRL) COMMENT TWICE WITH TWO DIFFERENT REPLIES? DID YOUR MEDICINE WEAR OFF SINCE THE FIRST ONE? INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT WHAT US PIONS ON HERE ARE SAYING. WHY DON'T YOU AND YOUR PARTNERS IN CRIME FIGURE OUT HOW TO "HONOR YOUR" OBLIGATIONS! THAT WAY THESE TYPE OF DISCUSSION WILL GO AWAY. I DON'T BLAME PEOPLE FOR BEING WORRIED THAT THEY MAY HAVE SPENT ALL SUMMER CHASING A POINT FUND THAT DIDN'T EXIST.

Well?

Proof is a matter of interpretation. Sounds like this should be handled in court... not on a public forum. All of this proof should be given to an attorney. Any public release of information should be released by an attorney as well... if necessary.

A public forum is not the place for allegations of criminal acts... whether it be slander, misappropriation of funds (stealing), breach of contract (verbal or written) and it is not a place for personal attacks because a business relationship went sour.

Yeah, it ****s to see a promising series get caught up in some "organizational problems."

I believe that all parties involved in this series had good intentions, but each had different directions as to how to carry them out. It seems as though there were too many people involved in releasing information and providing "press releases" and may have been speaking out of turn. I have seen alot of infighting on this board between people who were supposed to be working together for the same common goal. Many ideas or plans on carrying out its (the series') obligations were never realized because too many people were calling the shots when they may or may not have had the authority to do so.

I commend all the people involved for giving it there best shot. Hopefully, before undertaking such a task again, all their organizational goals and directives will be spelled out and a Board of Directors will be chosen to help them with these goals and directives. There will be ONE person making announcements on behalf of the Board and any decisions regarding the series is the Board's responsibilty. Not the largest doner... not the guy doing all the legwork, not the guy that runs tech, not the guy that prepares the tracks and etc.

Yes... some posts on here have turned ugly and warranted deletion. That is what PM's are for... or that is what the legal system is for.

Thank you Jimmy and all the rest of the post Moderator's for cleaning up this crap!

Sean, your name was on the CARS series too. That makes you just as responsible for anything that has happened, despite any of your attempts to shift all the blame onto other people.

I really don't think this is the place to try to air out your grievances. You're just dragging yourself through the mud as much as anyone else.

If there are facts that I and the rest of us should know then present them to us. I am not going to dig into you for them. I'm not a proctologist. I am patient and believe that when things are finalized the news (and distribution of point fund money) will follow.
If anything I have said needs to be corrected or clarified then by all means do it.
If you wish to make pubic the names of certain people and the details of the commitments they made along with the proof that they indeed made these commitments, that is up to you. Proceed carefully.

This pot that is being stirred- lets put the lid on it for a while.

Does anyone know who won the Sunoco give-aways every month????

Just my thoughts here but, the Sunoco thing may have been a promotion for that track that brandon organized. It may have fell through after he left and never given out. I dont know for a fact this just came to my mind after reading that press release since it does talk about Brandon and not the current promotor...

How Many Crate Car Raffle tickets were sold?

Last time I asked how many CRATE CAR RAFFLE tickets were sold, I was told it was none of my business, that I wasnt a CARS SERIES Owner.
There were a total of how many sold?
I do know that their was 5,000 printed.
This money was to go to the DRIVERS POINT FUND MONEY , Correct?

FYI...........................

Cant bankrupt a CARS SERIES CORPORATION that Doesnt exist

You cant bankrupt a Corporation that doesnt even exist.
This matter
holds all the owners responsible. AK was the President.
So, Someone will be responsible for paying out the $10 grand to the Point Champion and to the other drivers who has Point Fund Money coming from the Series who supported their so Called CARS SERIES.
What a way to show appreciation to all the drivers/owners involved.

Quote from AK:

I suggest you go ahead and get your attorney now because there will not be 10k to pay Nick. We dont know the amount from Hoosier yet but we are fairly certain that the funds wont be their to pay the amounts we did last year.

Please note that you will not find where Rick Heck or I ever made that committment to pay 10k nor did the board of CARS. You can sue CARS all day. It has no money and you will be a creditor to a bankrupt company if you win. Come on after Rick and I. I guarantee you will spend more than 10k to get 10k and I doubt that any attorney would take the case on a contingency basis. How are you holding me personally responsible? Your attorney is going to tell you that you have little to no chance of successfully suing officers of CARS. In any event I welcome it. I live with this stuiff in my job every day.

JMO but how long you gonna beat this dead horse. Just making yourself look stupid.
also like a jackass for trying to blame it all on al. quit taking up space.

and youve posted that quote so many times i think everyone here knows it by heart

For Simpson 54

Since you are only 16, maybe you need to go back to playing your guitar and working on your car, until you get a little more educated in what you are making a post . What if someone owed you $10 Grand for the POINTS CHAMIONSHIP , and the man in charge dont want to pay you , think about it! I am sure you would have a different tune then!

you know what. you have already beat this thing to death so dont bother

I wont be me the one looking stupid..........

Its not a dead horse, YET!

All I am requesting is pay up whats due, then will shut up.
What would you do if someone was trying to take something that was due to you, like $10 Grand........For the POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP.
Not to mention the money for the point fund money to all the other drivers.
I am sure you probably wouldnt take it, either.
I wont be the one looking bad when its all over.
So, No its not a dead horse, yet!

What would I do if someone owed me $10,000.00? Hmmm... I guess I would start a thread on stlracing.com and get it done on there.

Pfft... please!

Let this die or take it up in court.

It's not going to get settled nor answered on this board.

If its not a dead horse yet, then use the PROPER CHANNELS for resolving the issue.

This message board is NOT the place to do it.

I vote for Jimmy to lock or delete this thread as well!

Cars Series driver/owner? Probably not.

Apparently the CARS SERIES doesnt owe you money nor did you support their weekly racing season, if so ........you would have a different opinion.
The Series has done all the racers who supported them weekly WRONG and the General Public needs to be aware of it!
