GRANITE CITY, IL (July 8, 2015) – Friday night’s “Battle at the Beach 50” at Tri-City Speedway has been canceled. Widespread area flooding earlier today and an additional three inches of rain this evening has forced Speedway and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials to cancel the event.

“We hate to lose another event to Mother Nature. The weather has been tough on us this season. It’s always a pleasure to work with Kevin and Tammy Gundaker. We are looking forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with Tri-City Speedway in 2016,” stated Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Director Ritchie Lewis.

On Saturday night, July 11th the Series returns to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO for the annual CMH “Diamond Nationals.” This blockbuster weekend of racing comes to a close on Sunday night, July 12th with the completion of the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 – Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com.
