Will Kenny Schrader ever win another NASCAR race?

I doubt he will win again, but then you never know. I didn't think Bill Elliott would ever win another race and he won the Brickyard. It would be a huge celebration if Schrader won today. If Ryan Newman can't win I would like to see Schrader or Wallace win.
 
Oh well, today just wasn't Kenny's day. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Better luck next week. Congrads' to Dale Jr.. :(
 
NOTHING AGAINST KENNY, I AM A FAN OF HIS. BUT, I DON'T THINK A WIN IS IN HIS FUTURE, AT LEAST NOT WITH BAM.

NO OFFENSE TO BAM RACING. THEY ARE BUILDING A PROGRAM AND ARE COMING ALONG WELL. BUT, DEI, HENDRICK, CHILDRESS, YATES, ROUSH, AND GIBBS ARE LIGHT YEARS AHEAD, AND TOO BEAT THEM YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER.

I THINK IF KENNY COULD HAVE LANDED A MORE ESATBLISHED TEAM, HE DEFINETELY COULD HAVE WON SOMETHING.

yes schrader was a good nascar driver, but truthfully i think he should go back into dirt racing. he's one hell of a late model driver. I just don't think he's going to succeed witht the nascar team he has now. I mean maybe if he could land a deal with gibbs or hendrick or roush he may have a chance. but with the team he's with now...he's not going to have any luck for along time.
 
Somebody told me back when Kenny was ride hunting before the BAM deal came along that Kenny said hey last place in cup pays way better than first in Bush.
Kenny collected $203,438.00 for 40th yesterday and Jr. made $96,210.00 for winning the Busch race today.don't take much rithmitic... The days comin ,But ya gotta remember the boy's still winning races,maybe not cup but still some prestigious shows, not bad for a 50 year old.........

I'd love to see it but unfortunately I don't see it happening. Was anyone else wondering why they didn't go back out and try to pick up some points. The car didn't look that tore up to me but I had the Bud goggles on.

WOW!!!! What is he taking from whom? What other track is he hurting???? Specifics if you don't mind speculation is not hard core evidence. But if you show whom he really screwed I might just change my mind about him!!!!

KENNY OWNS I55! HE IS GOING TO DO WHATS BEST FOR I55, EVEN IF IT MEANS USING HIS CELEBRITY PULL! THAT SHOULDN'T BE A SURPRISE TO ANYONE. IF YOU OR I OWN A TRACK, WE'D DO THE SAME THING IF WE COULD.
 
I agree Pit. But this is also like sponsorship they don't come looking for you . You have to seek and work people till you get what you want. I believe Ray M. and the promotion group does this. I believe every track has the opportunity to aquire sponsors and work on races and deals. Nobody pissed and moaned when another track in town had the EXTREME RACE last year. You have to be the aggressor.... And YEP Kenny will drive anything and he races anywhere. He is a racer of all types of cars. Maybe you should not limit yourself to one thing. Kinda boring if you don't go out there and live the life you want. He's just lucky enough to do it. Especially around STL. area. I do not believe he has the power to close down or ruin other tracks. Other tracks have that power themselves just like I-55 could do themselves in also . Sometimes organizations like to go with stability. And Ray has been running I-55 for many years now. They say add more seating and we will put your WOO show on T.V. ( Got more seating ) just an example... Being of GOOD SOUND BUSINESS MIND and promoting helps out alot also. I do believe this sounds like my 7 year old acting jealous of what someone else has instead of working to get money to buy it herself. And yes work ethics need to be implimented at an early age so they don't think everything lands in their lap for nothing!!!! J/M/O
 
I think eventually some day Kenny will win another race..I think it is going to take some more time! Good Luck in 2004 Kenny!
 
I am a HUGE Schrader fan, but I think that he will not win a race until he gets over whatever mental block (or whatever) that keeps him from getting up on the back bumper of the car infront of him.

I watch him closely (and root for him as well) and I see in just about every single cup race, that he hangs far back on the car in front of him. This not only hurts his drafting performance, but opens the way for other drivers to slip infront of him that otherwise could not. And few drivers will hook up with him for fear of losing the draft.

I noticed during the 500, that just about every time Jr. got behind a car, he was GLUED to their back bumper.

I will not second guess schraders guts, or intellegence or skill, but there has to be a reason why he wont close up and draft.
