Inside Line Promotions - ROSSBURG, Ohio (Oct. 17, 2018) - Greg Wilson has limited laps at the venues this weekend for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series.

'The Greatest Show on Dirt' heads to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., on Friday for the FVP Platinum Battery Shootout and Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kan., on Saturday for the Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown.

The driver of the Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics and Gear Alloy Wheels sponsored team has finished ninth and 20th, respectively, during two visits to Lakeside Speedway. Saturday will mark his debut at Dodge City Raceway Park.

"We have a little more experience at Lakeside than Dodge City, but it will still be a weekend of learning," he said. "When you're racing with the World of Outlaws it forces you to adapt quickly and learn on the fly. We have some notes for Lakeside, but we're still building that notebook and when we go into Dodge City we'll just try to compare it to a track that seems similar and go from there."

Wilson is coming off a busy weekend with the World of Outlaws. After Friday's race at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Ill., rained out he ventured to Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday for the Wabash Clash.

Wilson made progress in the heat race to pick up two positions and claim the final lock-in position to the heat race after qualifying got him behind the eight ball. He capped the night with a 20th-place finish.

"Terre Haute is a huge, half-mile oval and passing can be very difficult," he said. "Everyone is fast and the air makes it a challenge when you are near other cars. That was a successful night to make it from start to finish without any damage."

The weekend wrapped up on Sunday at Eldora Speedway for the Last Call for Them All. Wilson timed in fifth quickest in his group and he gained a position to finish second in a heat race, which locked him into the dash. A seventh-place finish in the dash lined Wilson up on the inside of the fourth row for the main event.

"We ran inside the top 10 for most of the race, but had an incident and got turned around in turns one and two," he said. "We had to restart at the back and we were able to get back to 15th, but that was a disappointment to have that incident because we definitely had a top-10 car and possibly a top-five car."
