Looks like Windy Hollow SPeedway in Owensboro, KY has decided against running UMP mods on a weekly basis this season. The track owner has told me he is going to run what he called an "Emod" class and then run some "Special shows" for the UMP mods.
He said the emods would be just like the ump with the big difference being he is using his pure stock division motor and transmission rules! Dont know how this will work but it will really be cheaper on guys wanting to run mods but dont have the money to run with the big dogs or the ones who want to get seat time in a lower hp mod.
The down fall is that now in the Western KY area there will be NO UMP tracks for guys to run a reg. show! Everyone will have to pull across the water to Tri-State and try to make it in a show with 50+ mods every week!
