Any heavy hitters from the STL area coming down to play with the WoO LM's?

Jimmy,

You are in for a good trip. Extremely fast track with nice design!!
Feature winner will have to conserve tires, though. UMP officials had to cut the SN's feature from 40 to 35 laps and guys still were exploding right rears.

Jimmy,
I-44 mentioned you and STLRacing.com during the Summernationals. I just assumed you were there. The new red clay is fast and tacky. The old track record held by Chub Frank was broken by several guys qualifying for the SN's with Jeremy Payne setting the new record as he edged out Billy Moyer and Rodney Melvin. There will most likely be a new record tomorrow night. As TTG would say...."this track is bad fast".

I love going to Pevely every Saturday night but I always make a few trips to I44 each summer cause it is a very nice place to watch a race and its about the same amount of drive either place. Very different prospective sitting on the hill and the racing is down at the bottom and dont forget about the wild side. If you never been there before its worth a trip. I believe Birkhoffer won the WoO show there last year.

Sully,
Birky did indeed win it last year in his first visit to the track. It's a WoO/MARS clash tomorrow and the field will be full of talent. If you haven't been there yet this year you'll se a faster track than before. It was reported that the some of the USMTS Mods said it was too fast. It will be a great night of racing.

i walked the track afterward the was enought rocks to rock the city of stl twice probaly i understand the flat tires now but i was impressed with the track main thing was FAST FAST FAST:D
