WOO vs NDRL
Statement from CDM.......

Championship Dirt Motorsports
We were just informed that since the World Racing Group is leasing the Dirt track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the March 5th & 6th World Of Outlaws Sprint Car races and will also be paying the purses for the late model races that CDM Super Late Models Series will not be allowed to be apart of the March 5th race.

Tom Deery and the World Racing Group are upset with us because we worked with the National Dirt Racing League this January at Tucson and El Paso and because the CMD Super Late Model Series decided to start doing are own thing and start sanctioning weekly late model and modified races last year nd no longer be sanctioned by DIRTcar.

I know that there are a lot of drivers that planned on racing with the CDM Super Late Models this March in Las Vegas. Please don't let this stop you from attending this race. Chris Kerns and the West Coast Late Model Shootout need all of the cars that they can get for this race. We do not have very many big shows like this in our part of the country so please support this one.

Our next race will be February 28th and March 1st at Canyon Speedway Park. We hope to see everyone there!

Discuss...... What's your thoughts on this?

The NDRL better put their big boy pants on, if they're going to tangle with WRG. They're going up against UMP, WoO Late Models, and any track the WoO Sprints visit.

no wrg/woo might want to step up to the plate if they want to continue in 2015

might be wrong lol but I wrg is a little bigger than NDRLall wrghas to say you run NDRL and no UMp woo shows for their drivers that means no hell tour no dream world or the charlotte races

WRG holds the high ground in this battle. First off, UMP tracks are not going to risk their sanction just to host 1 NDRL special, when the WRG can bring several specials through the year, including MARS/UMP clashes, the SummerNationals, the WoO Late Models, and yes, even the WoO Sprints.

I hate to tell you this but there are a couple of UMP Tracks that tried to get the NDRL at their track this year and one I know of them is Kankakee.
WRG/ UMP was in my opinion being selfish and told the tracks no or you risk loosing the sanction.
Didn't know a sanction could tell a promoter how to run his/ her track (Business) and tell them what series they can and can not bring into their track < sounds a bid selfish to me after the NDRL and John Kennedy called them out after they decided fine and suspend Jason Feger for 3 months after the WOO LMS Illini 100 tire DQ but didn't suspend or fine Jimmy Owens after the NDRL race at I-55 for the same thing (DQ'd for a tire infraction). Mind you both races had UMP TECH OFFICIALS THERE.

I think sooner or later guys will start seeing the light and get off the WOO Late Model Tour. There must be something guys don't like about them. Look back at 2006 when some WOO Sprint drivers dropped off and in tune the National Sprint Tour was created for that year.. If a group of drivers decides to leave the WOO Late Model Series it could get them thinking about what they did and how this mess all got started. I thing the biggest part of this is the World Racing Group (Tom Deery) owns UMP and that's where most of the bu!! $*!t in my opinion comes from.

Well ndrl wrote jimmy Owens a letter asking him to come back from what we heard in Tucson and I'd say ndrl needs to pay on time if they want to stay a float and not weeks later!!! Jmo

Have to agree with hound. Until NDRL steals a eldora race from ump, they are nothing but an aggravation to WRG. I sure do love that NDRL called ump out last year over the Owens deal.

I'm glad that there is a sanctioning body out there that is finally giving UMP a run for their money. Even if it's just a small thorn in their side...it lets them know that they're not invincible. While I don't necessarily agree with the approach that NDRL has taken, I applaud them for taking action against UMP's inconsistencies.

As I stated in a previous post...I don't think it's a coincidence that NDRL scheduled against some of WRG's biggest shows...Firecracker 100 (Bad Boy 98 @ Batesville) and the USA Nationals (McKean, PA).

All I can say is ump has a lot of tracks backed into a corner and hopefully this is the first step to getting them to pull their head from their rectum. There has it be competition on and off the track if you get my drift otherwise ump will continue to screw tracks, promotors and drivers due to their incompetence. This is a great small first step towards what could be better sanctioning bodies. So we now have a small snowball starting to roll

firecracker is is still a wrg show badboy 98 was never a wrg show either it was lucas usa nationals is at cedar lake wisc and its still wrg
