The Hoosier LM 20 compound will be required on the Left Front (LF), Right Front (RF) and Left Rear (LR) positions for all events.

The Hoosier LM 20 and LM 40 compounds are optional on the Right Rear (RR) position for all events.
No grooving, no siping or pinning is permitted on any tire. Paper buffing is permitted with no visual cuts. Aggressive, nail or traction inducing siping grinding will result in disqualification pre- or post-race.

DIRTcar rules governing mechanical rules and chemical alteration of tires will govern the event.

Here's a question, why doesn't each team get supplied with tires at these big events? Somewhat like NASCAR does with their tires? Wouldn't this end the issue of soaking tires?

Slammin Sammy and the purple mafia are at it again. 20s in a 100 lap feature at Eldora? This might be the dumbest thing they have done so far. Does anyone believe a 20 will last on the LR? This sells more tires and allows big dollar teams to have an advantage again! These people have ruined this sport! Shame on them!

Lastly, I can't believe that Tony Steward is going along with this.

It would be nice to have some warning from UMP if they are wanting to do this next year. We have quite a few tires to burn up if this is the case.
