World Finals

As a big fan of dirt late model racing for a long time I have branched out the last few years going to many major events and crown jewels. Now nothing in my opinion will ever be better than Saturday evening for the World at Eldora, but as a fan the World Finals in Charlotte is a must go to event. Whether you fly or drive like we did, plan a trip down there next year. The late models put on a great show as always and the big block mods are so fun to watch with there championship truly coming down to the last lap! Fill your night at the dirt track and the day by exploring the Nascar shops (if you love Days of Thunder stop by the Hendrick Museum), the Hall of Fame, do the "Over the Wall" tour at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and if you enjoy wine drive about 45 minutes north to Richard Childress's Vineyard. The racing is great and the people are very friendly. This is definitely a must go to for a dirt racing fan. Also if you drive, stop in Gatlinburg on your way home and get 13 free shots at Ole Smoky Moonshine!
