Concord, NC-August 10, 2010- The 2010 World of Outlaws season has been one of the most competitive in series history, with just nine points currently separating Joey Saldana and Steve Kinser in the battle for the title, with Jason Meyers third only 46 markers back, through 49 races. Already in 2010, more drivers have won A-Feature events and led laps than all last year combined, with 21 A-Feature events sill remaining on the calendar. There has also been more lead changes this season through the first 49 races than all of last year in the 67 total races that were contested.

The World of Outlaws return to action with the Magic City Showdown at the recently reconfigured Nodak Speedway in Minot, North Dakota on Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21, which kicks off the 2010 Gold Rush Tour, which will take the series to six different tracks in four states and one Canadian Province as the stretch run of the 2010 campaign shifts into high gear.
