The World of Outlaws return to Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia on Wednesday, June 20 for the first time since 2005. The series first raced at the half-mile in 1978 and has competed at the track a total of 19 times, with 12 different drivers picking up victories.
Donny Schatz, the reigning World of Outlaws champion won at the track in 2003. He currently leads the series points on the strength of seven A-Feature wins and 29 Top-10 finishes in 32 events. He is tied for the series lead with four Crane Cam Dash wins that has earned him the same number of pole positions. He finished fifth last Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway, despite suffering significant damage to his front wing.
Joey Saldana heads to Missouri State Fair Speedway after a very strong run at Knoxville. He lined up 23rd for the 25-lap event and worked his way to a sixth-place finish to earn the KSE Race Products Hard Charger Award. The native of Brownsburg, Indiana is second in championship points and is tied with Schatz for the series lead in wins, with seven. Saldana, the 1996 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year with the World of Outlaws has 26 Top-10 finishes this season as he continues to chase his first series title.
Danny Lasoski has won at Sedalia three times with the World of Outlaws: 1999, 2001 and 2002. The native of Dover, Missouri has been instrumental in the success of the event at the track, which is just an hour from his home. For the last 10 years has served as a benefit to the Michael Ross Memorial Foundation, and is held in conjunction with the Michel Ross Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament, which will be held on Tuesday, June 19. Lasoski enters the event third in points, with three wins and 24 Top-10 finishes on the season.
Daryn Pittman heads to the half-mile fourth in points. He has two wins on the campaign to go along with 22 Top-10 finishes. The native of Owasso, Oklahoma is tied for the series lead with four wins in the Crane Cam Dash to earn the same number of pole positions in A-Feature competition.
Jason Meyers won in the series last race at the half-mile. He began that night by setting fast time and went on to lead the final 14 laps of the 25-lap A-Feature. The native of Clovis, California is in the midst of a seven-race streak of Top-10 finishes. He won in the series first visit of the season to Missouri on May 11 at U.S. 36 Raceway. Entering this week, Meyers is fifth in championship points with two wins and 22 Top-10 finishes.

After winning on Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway, he backed that up with a victory in weekly competition at Huset’s Speedway in South Dakota, where he is the winningest driver in the history of the track. Justin Henderson competed in 2005 with the World of Outlaws in their last visit to the track. The native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota earned his seventh Top-10 finish of the season on Saturday night at Knoxville.

Jeremy Campbell continues his second full-season with the World of Outlaws and is solidly in the Top-20 in points. He has three Top-10 finishes on the season, along with a Top-Five at Tri-State (Ind.) Speedway earlier this season.
A pair of rookies round out the Top-20 in points, with Chad Hillier of Washington, 19th and Zach Chappell of Oklahoma 20th. Each has one Top-10 finish on the season.
