World of Outlaws "Mean 15" Hit Tri-City Speedway

Granite City, IL -- The World of Outlaws, "America's Greatest Show on Dirt" will hit Tri-City Speedway on Saturday, May 15 for over $50,000 in posted prize money at the St.Louis area's only half-mile dirt track led by the contracted "Mean 15."{

The most recognized names in Outlaw Sprint Car Racing are led by Steve Kinser, the 2003 and eighteen time World of Outlaws champion. Kinser recently won his 500th career World of Outlaws main event. Kinser is the most winning driver in Tri-City history having won 22 times in 46 starts The Outlaws' "Mean 15," led by Kinser in Saturday's racing program, includes Danny Lasoski, Paul McMahon, Tim Shaffer, Donnie Schatz, Jason Meyers, Joey Saldana, Craig Dollansky, Jason Sides, Daryn Pittman, Brian Paulus with rookies Kraig Kinser, Jonathan Allard, Brian Brown and female race driver Erin Crocker. The 30-lap main event will pay $10,000 to the winner.

Also, a full card of Outlaw 600cc Micro-Sprints will tear up the quarter-mile in a big 25-lap, $500 to win feature event. Weight requirements are 750 pounds minimum, 12 square-foot top wing and no fuel additives. Pits open at 3 p.m. with the Drivers' Meeting at 6 p.m.

Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. Time Trials at 7 p.m. and the first Qualifying race is at 8 p.m. Reserved seats are on sale and are available by calling RaceLine at (636) 947-7287 or RaceTix at (314) 469-9666. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. Adult tickets $32, Children 16 and under $15, General Admission will be sold on race day.

Tri-City Speedway is located one-half mile south of I-270 on Illinois Route 203. Parking is always FREE.
