The World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will be visiting one of the nation’s most electrifying and lightning quick dirt race tracks in June. Jim Nier’s KC Raceway near Chillicothe, OH has been added to the 2005 schedule with a huge two-day event at the high-banked 3/8ths mile oval scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 17th and June 18th . The “Dirty Dozen” drivers of the nationally touring dirt Late Model group will battle all challengers in the quest for a $20,000 payday in the “Veterans Appreciation 100”. A whopping $100,000 in total purse money has been posted just for the event which offers $1,500 to start the “Veterans Appreciation 100”.The two-day event will also feature the wild and wooly UMP Modifieds in Friday, June 17th chasing $1,000 to win for their feature. Supporting the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series Saturday, June 18th will be the Sprint Cars and Hobby Stocks.

“We are extremely excited to bring the ‘Dirty Dozen’ of the World of Outlaw Stacker 2® Late Model Series to KC Raceway”, said DIRT MotorSports C.O.O. Bobby Hartslief. “Jim Nier’s KC Raceway is one of the most exciting racing venues in the country. The speeds are unbelievable and the action is always fierce. It should be a great weekend to honor those who have sacrificed, some the ultimate sacrifice, in defense of the United States with a truly exciting and fun racing weekend. The veterans really deserve it for all they have done. We will do our part to properly have that for them during the ‘Veterans Appreciation 100’. They’ve earned it.”

The World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series open the “Veterans Appreciation 100” with time trials Friday, June 17th and a special event matching the top 6 “Dirty Dozen” drivers in championship points against the top 6 non-“Dirty Dozen” drivers from time trials. Those 12 drivers will wage war in a 15 lap - $2,000 to win main event. Qualifying heat races, “B” Mains, Pole Dash and the “Veterans Appreciation 100” are scheduled for Saturday, June 18th. Several other “surprise” events will be held during the weekend at Jim Nier’s KC Raceway.
