World Products Empire State Series travels to Five Mile Point June 23

KIRKWOOD, N.Y. (June 19) – Midweek action is next on the agenda for the World Prod¬ucts Em¬pire State Series, as touring IMCA Modifieds travel to Five Mile Point Speedway for a Wednes¬day, June 23 show.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7:15 p.m.

National, ButlerBuilt Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and special series points will be given.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for students ages 13-18 and 12 and under get in free. Pit passes are $30. There is no entry fee for the Modifieds.

Series wins at Five Mile Point helped Dale Caswell earn 2007 and 2008 tour titles. Kevan Cook wrapped up the 2009 series crown with the win there last season.

Lyle Smith topped the 2010 opening night show on May 30 at Skyline Raceway in Cortland. Thun¬der Mountain Speedway at Center Lisle hosts the most recent addition to the Empire State Series schedule, a Sunday, July 4 outing.
