Would you like to see crate racing at I-55????

JUST ASKING. Would you like to see crate racing at I-55 every week or maybe just some special events? I know its hard to get another class in but they do run ventage cars every once in a while.And if yes, would more drivers start racing them .I am just asking what your thought are, not trying to start a negative post about I-55... But I would like to see it happen. Thanks for your thought.

YEAH buddy, we'd love to see crates run at I55. Give us a Saturday nite track WITHOUT having to drive so far!!!!!!!!

In order to add crate they would have to drop sportsman. I-55 is probably the best Sportsman track in the midwest. I'd rather see Highland drop sportsman and run crates. I think both tracks would benefit from this.
 
It would be nice to see them run at I-55, but I honestly dont see it happening. Does anyone know if they are still planning on running crate cars at the I-55 Dirt Car Round-Up race this fall?

I agree with this 100%!!!!! The only problem is that where do the Bomber guys go to when they want to move up? Crates or Mods?
Another question would be, What would people think of a crate mod class?

Yea bring in the Crates, they had so many at the rock. get rid of the pro-4 class too. they only bring in 20-28 cars a week, get a total payout of less than $150 and help pay the payouts of the other "REAL" classes. Give me a break. they have a good thing going with what thay have. If you want to see the crates with a good car count, Tri - city runs them on friday nights,. check it out. One heck of a show there. except for them dang pro-4s. lol

i for one would love to see crates at i55 and get rid of the pro-4s this would be a real good show latemodels,mods,crates and sportsmans.:cool:
 
I for one would like to never see a crate race again. Their car counts aren't nothing to write home about at the tracks they already run. Why add another?
 
No...There are enough tracks fighting for the crates and they all run on the same nights you wouldn't draw enough of a field. Letem stay where they are now.
 
Maybe they should just try them out for one night. We can speculate all we want but never you until we try them...Just my opinion...
 
i am not a big fan of crates either. i would like to so allied switch up between hornets and bombers, even if it is once a month between the two tracks.
 
why do you bother???you have no clue about what makes the racetrack stay up and running from week to week.I promise it has nothing to do with the twelve pack you drink from the stands.

Who are you talking about? Thank you for everybody's imput on this subject and nobody has a wrong answer.Thanks again, Keith
 
I like things @ I 55 as they are. The pro 4 class gives new drivers the opportunity for seat time without an excessive cost. They also put on a good show.
