Your Guess on The Average 410 Sprint Car Count This Year...

(i think it's) kokomo has a $500 to win (non-wing) sprint car show, and they get an absolute ton of cars. 60 last i heard. 500 to win is pathetic. micro's pay that to win. but, there is a ton of sprints in indiana, and they must just want to race. more power to them. i don't know what j-ville or farmington pays to win, but my guess is more than $500. things are somewhat uncertain at lincoln this year, and thompson is no longer involved. art.
 
Farmington pays 1500 to win,1000 for 2nd,200 to start and 100 for non qualifiers.Jacksonville was paying 1200 to win but was loosing money from no fans last year,they even cancelled the last part of the season because of cost.It aint looking much better this year since gas cost keep rising as it starts to warm up.

SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE BUT ITS PARAGON THAT PAYS 500 AND GETS A TON BUT THEY HAVE LIKE 3 FEATURES AND ALL PAY THE SAME I DON'T GET IT EITHER
 
Potter for a top notch motor builder to build you a 410 that the outlaws run you will not have just 34 in a motor. The number that always comes up is 50 when you are talking 410 motors plus did anyone hear about the Don Ott motor he built for Fred Ramher that was all billet. It was over 80 grand and put out over 900 hp. They did allow it very long and it was banned but anyway i could check with a good source but i am pretty sure they are around 50 brand new.

Exactly!!! And you are right about the Don Ott motor. He pocketed just as much money from winnings as some of the Outlaw guys did that year racing that motor all over Posseland. I think it was just one of those deals just to see if they could do it and to see if it would stay in one piece. And it did!
 
gearte's motors are $32,000 new for an all aluminum open 410,trust me that is what my father ran,im sure there are guys charging $50,000 and the guys with no brains are the ones buying them.the open gearte 410 is as proven as any motor in the outlaws.the gearte ascs 360 open motor is $24,000 new!
 
the key word is starting price. that motor wouldnt touch a motor that the slowest guy on the outlaw tour runs. not taking anything away from gaerte because he does build a fine motor, call him up and ask him what the price is when you add all the goodies. a top notch motor from gaerte, wesmar, don ott or whoever is over $60,000 new. just my two cents.
 
wrong,we have owned gearte engines and the 34,000 dollar motor he sells not only WILL run with any motor on the circuit,but they DO!in case you failed to read above,my father ran sprints for a few years,your not gonna BS me!gearte's engines record speaks for themselves on the outlaw sprint tour,and he builds some of the best engines out there.

BTW amati,i have seen both a gearte ASCS 360 motor and a Salina race engines ASCS 360 motor both run mid pack in a World of Oultaws main event.the 410 is a couple hundred horse more then the ascs 360...it dont take $60,000 dollar motor to win with them.you go by the 60,000 dollar gearte motor,and we'll compare it to the $34,000 open 410 he sales and i gaurantee there is a minute bit of difference!!!there isnt $30,000 worth of add ons in that motor!

like the site shows,i am right.and trust me that 34,000 motor will get er done!!

That is fine that your whole family has won so many races with the World of Outlaws and All Stars and every other series out there. If what the people on here are saying is that the motor that he has on there for 34 isn't gonna cut it. I promise you that for the best motor that he has it isn't 34 grand. Cause if the best 410 motor out there was only 34 grand there would be alot more people racing 410's. So next weekend when the Outlaws are at Pevely go ask the top teams if they buy that 34 grand motor. Let me know what you find out.

Name me the last person to win a World of Outlaws race or championship with this $32,000 engine. Well now you're saying 34 grand, but whatever.:confused:

Most everyone knows that your top drivers are using Otts, Kistlers, Garretts, Kinsers, Mopars, Kriners, etc...... Yes, there are some out there that do run Gearte, but not many and not the top dogs. Please do yourself a favor and stick to modifieds.;)
 
brandon i never said my family won with the outlaws and they never ran with them either.but i do know that the 34,000 dollar motor gearte builds will win with the OUTLAWS.and i also know that both gary wright and jesse hocket have run mid pack in the outlaws with ASCS 360 sprint motors!!!but i forgot you guys know it all so whatever you think,i know better.sprint cars are a dying breed thats all there is to it.

sammy swindell runs a gearte engine everyday of the year,and i told you once,damn near every big driver in the outlaws has not only ran but WON many races with a gearte powerplant,your names bigrightrear i thought you would know that??????

sammy run a gearte chevrolet,and won not only hundreds of features,but many championships,IN THE OUTLAWS.yes im sure he ran the motor im referring too,they crank out over 800hp and have no trouble winning races.like i said before im sure there are guys paying $60,000 for a motor,but they are not getting $30,000 more worth of DIFFERENCE then the motor gearte sales for the $34,000.does paying $60,000 for a motor mean its better then one for $34,000??HELL no it doesnt!!!!
