zach daum gets 3rd should have got 18th at greenville

hey zach are you going to give the 3rd place money back to the right person
it belongs to cause you are a lap car you should have finshed 18th.
 
On the lap Zach was lapped, a caution came out. It was not an official lap. The race went back to the last completed lap. Zach was not a lapped car.

he was never in the top 5 all night long . not only did he run away with the third place check, he also ran away with the second place trophie.how can you cash that check, or look at that trophie all winter long knowing that both of them belong to someone else. if you would like to see the tape, drop me your address on here i will send you a copie.

My thoughts exactly. Why make the Daums look like they're cheating? :confused: If the scorers screwed up, b-tch at them.

Just for the record, though, I have Zach finishing 10th, one lap down.

Personally stop yelling at the daums you would have taken the money any day if the track screws up that bad its the tracks fault. Protest do what you want but chill out a little bit on zach

That was kind of random. How exactly do bad calls at Godfrey relate to where Zach Daum finished at Greenville? :confused:
 
So, where did Zach really finish? I have him 10th, but at this point I'd think BCR should just come up with any spot outside the top several positions just to acknowledge that he wasn't 3rd.
 
Kind of hard to do when you are a few hundred miles away, locked in a conference room discussing 2006 and beyond, Brandon.
 
think about this

up top fergy69 (a scorer)said that zach went a lap down but the caution came out so he was given his lap back thats fine ifs thats how it went.
but neil shepperd 14n (the leader)only lapped up to 11th place which puts zach well out of the top 10. so i dont understand how he was given his lap back and put back up to 3rd. when he got this lap back he was probably 13th or 14th.

regardless of the situation zach knew he WAS NOT a 3rd place car.
so instead of telling the scorers and making it right he stole the money from the other competitors and the 2nd place trophy from mark gass 96.
the way i have it figured the points should have been as follows
1. brian steele 76
2. mark gass 96
3.keith steele 12
4. zach daum 5
At the very least he owes mark gass an apology!
 
As i have already stated in the other thread, the officals are completly unaware of the situation that happened on that night. It took them 15 minutes to line up cars after a yellow and still cant get it right. Shoot i'd take 3rd place money knowing i finished 17th or whatever, maybe the scoreres thought the drive thru the infield was so cool they'd give him some style money. I was out on the track and managed to see it and thought zach did a hell of a job of keepin it goin, looked like fun. Another example of how great of a night it was did anyone in hot laps notice the car that spun out in turn 1 and well they never threw a yellow for him and we ran 4 laps of hot laps with a car stuck on a tire in turn 1. Hmmm maybe we that kid should prosectue them for possible man slaughter or something like that? I hope they get there stuff together cause like i stated before they have a great idea there, just the wrong people running it.
 
The normal officials weren't there.. If zach didn't get that position, it's the tracks fault... he was just taking what someone told him that he got... Have you seen the kid, be nice to him. I don't believe he has been on here bad-mouthing anyone before... You are going to punish him for taking what they told him he deserved??? I believe most of the racers in the sport would take something that does not belong to them... Isn't that what happens if someone's cheating or taking people out... They are getting something they don't deserve because they didn't earn it. Are people who cheat going to give back their earnings/trophies when they are caught cheating... Probably not... This is getting old...

I have never met Zach but please leave him alone and I'm sure he will make the correct decision... JMO
 
I Wasn't There, But If The Young Man Was Given A Payout For Over 10 Spots More Than He Deserved. He Should Have Said Something And Made It Right. Show A Little Integrity And Have A Little Respect For Your Competitors Whom Were Being Screwed Out Of Their Rightful Purse. That Is If Thats What Happened.

SPEED85, I HAVE NEVER KNOW ANYONE WHO COULD FINISHED OUT OF THE TOP 10 AND BUT ACTUALLY FINISH 3RD AND NOT KNOW IT.
