(Wheatland, MO) -- Wheatland Raceway's Modified "King of the Hill" on Saturday night went to Randy Zimmerman, who was chased accross the line by Rex Merritt and last week's winner Jason Bodenhamer.
Kerry Schulze took home the top prize in Late Models fpllpwed by Chad Clark and Bodenhamer.
Sportsman saw Harlon Kennedy lead flag to flag for his thrid win of the season.
In the Street Stock action, Ted Welchmeyer got around Jody Saultz to take the win with Robert Brown thrid. In the make up race from April 19, Donald Ginnings lead all 12 laps to take the victory over Saultz and Welchmeyer.
Next week, June 28, will be the second Late Model King of the Hill. It will pay $3,000 to the winner. Terry Phillips is expectted to be on hand to see if he can stay in contention to collect the extra $2,000 for the driver who can win all 4 King of the Hill races.
Pit gates open at 4, grand stands open at 5. Hot laps at 7 first race at 7 30. $50 entry fee for Late Models, $25 pit pass and $10 general admission.
Also annouced this week, all reguler point shows will be only $7 general admission. King of the Hill will be $10 and MARS races will be $15.
