St. Louis, MO (April 10th, 2008) – After a successful 2007 season Chad Zobrist is back on the track in 2008 and he brought along a brand new marketing and fan connecting tool. His new website www.ZobristMotorsports.com has been completely refreshed top to bottom. Chad rolled out in a brand new car for 2008 and his team website was in need of an upgrade as well, he did that and much more.
From the first time Chad wrenched on his uncle's street stock Chad wanted to be a racer. It wasn't clear from the beginning that he would be a very successful late model driver but since Chad was nine he has wanted to do it. At the beginning he managed to break stuff before he even climbed behind the wheel of a race car but he never gave up no matter how many people told him he should find something else. When he turned 16 he walked all over his first race opportunity and jumped into the bomber class. He didn't just jump in and race, Chad took things seriously and in his first season he was the track champion.
Chad gives credit for much of his racing success to friend and fellow racer Randy Korte. From the first time he climbed in a late model Randy has been there to help Chad and the team out. The learning curve for Chad was a great one his first year of late model racing but Randy Korte was always there to help Chad not only on driving the car but also set-up tips and tricks. To this day Korte is still a big help to the team.
