Why are people on here making a big deal out of what he is paying? With Ky Lake paying $5000 to win most of the good cars from around here will be there, but there are some of us modified drivers who have to work on Saturday and can not make it to Ky Lake but still want to run a few more races...

As usual there is another side to this story that we do not have, and probably will not get. I understand that local law enforcement does have the power, and should have the power, to handle situations like this, but I feel this incident is just going to open the door for unnecessary lawsuits...

I agree that his actions on the track were wrong, but it is a racing incident. Anyone who has been in a racecar know that sometimes tempers flare and we do irrational things that we would not normally do. I feel the track officials should have handled it, not some off-duty police officer...

Maybe it is time for UMP to finally split the modified class and sponsor a UMP A-Mod and a UMP B-Mod. There have been rumors of this for years, but they were just that, rumors. This would allow the guys who want to spend big money chase a big purse and allow the little guy to chase after local...

My vote goes towards Macon. It use to be a fun place to go and race and I think with the right person it could be again.
