By "working the track" you actually meant adding water to compensate for the wind. The track was smooth & hard. They did a great job packing in over 50 loads of new dirt. Now if mother nature would stay away from the weekends.

I know someone who use to set them out in plain site and cover with a tarp. They would disappear overnight. LoL. Guess someone thought they were worth something. If you didn't cover them nobody would touch them.

The yellow was called for the 95 & 76 spinning before Ponder got there is what I was told. Looked like a good call.

You think maybe the wind had anything to do with it. Kind of hard to get any moisture in the track when the wind was blowing 70mph till sundown.

So you want guys to pay $125 for a tire, and give you $50 to cut rubber off. Just so they can run 6 nights. That sounds like a good way to price everybody out of racing.
