Good thing Mother Nature is not eligible for the 2011 U.S. Race Gear Cincinnati Modified Championship presented by Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford and B&B Auto Care. She has claimed 2 out of 3 of the first events and threatens to score more victories as the weather has been brutal thus far in the region. Daryl Herbert was able to sneak past her for a $1000 dollar paycheck at Florence Speedway. He sits a top the standings with 74 events left on the schedule. A decent point fund awaits the top finishers in the championship that takes each drivers 15 best finishes in races at Florence, Lawrenceburg, Moler and Brushcreek speedplants. Remember you must register to be eligible for the fund and registered drivers receive bonus points. For all the info vist www.cincinnatimodifiedchampionship.com
