$15,000 To Win Cotton Pickin’ 100 This Weekend
Friday and Saturday October 20th and 21st!
Plus Major Local Division Championships
COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI-The next racing event at Magnolia Motor Speedway will be the 3rd annual Coors Light Cotton Pickin’ 100 this weekend October 20th and 21st. The Coors Light Cotton Pickin’ 100 is the biggest event of the year at Magnolia Motor Speedway. The growing event will see huge money paid out across all divisions highlighted by the $15,000 to win and $1,000 to start Super Late Model 100 lap main event. The track will also see a first time visit from the Stormpay.com National Late Model Series rolling into town for a $3,000 to win 40-lap main with a very strong contingent of drivers from across the southeast battling for the win. Local divisions will see big money on the line as well with the Open Wheel Modifieds will also be going for $3,000 to win in their 30-lap main event. Finally, the Late Model Stock class will be racing in a 20-lap $1,200 to win championship as well.
Action gets underway on Thursday night October 19th with an open practice from 7pm until 10pm. Racing action begins on Friday night October 20th at 8pm with both Super Late Model and Stormpay.com Late Model Series qualifying and heat races. Open Wheel Modifieds and Late Model Stocks will run heat races Friday night. Saturday night October 21st at 7pm will see B-Mains and Championship events in all participating classes.
One of the best fields of drivers this season across all divisions are expected to be on hand. Close to 200 race cars from across the nation are expected to fill the pits vying for the coveted Coors Light Cotton Pickin’ 100 Championships. Many the South’s best drivers in their respective divisions should be on hand with the big money on the line.
