2006 Cotton Pickin’ 100 Details Released!
Coors Light Cotton Pickin’ 100 Coming October 20th and 21st!
COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI-The next racing event at Magnolia Motor Speedway will be the 3rd annual Coors Light Cotton Pickin’ 100 on October 20th and 21st. The growing event will see huge money paid out across all divisions highlighted by the $15,000 to win and $1,000 to start Super Late Model 100 lap main event. Local divisions will see big money on the line as well with the Stormpay.com National Late Model Series rolling into town for a $3,000 to win and $300 to start 40-lap main. The Open Wheel Modifieds will also be going for $3,000 to win and $200 to start in their 30-lap main event. Finally, the Late Model Stock class will be racing in a 20-lap $1,200 to win championship as well.
Action gets underway on Thursday night October 19th with an open practice from 7pm until 10pm. Racing action begins on Friday night October 20th at 8pm with both Super Late Model and Stormpay.com qualifying and heat races. Please note that the Super Late Models will employ the Lucas Oil Series format for determining the top 18 on Friday night. Open Wheel Modifieds and Late Model Stocks will run heat races Friday night.
Saturday night October 21st at 7pm will see B-Mains and Championship events in all participating classes.
