$15 To Get In at Kentucky Lake This Year

We all know if your racing for the Money you make that you are in the wrong profession. But to punish the guys and gals that bad because thier habit is racing is terrible. But if they are going to Pay $200.00 to start a feature and $50.00 to show its a thought. Parking on the front stretch is a sad idea. that means you paid to get in and want to penilise the fans?

You are all forgetting one little factor that probably goes towards the $15 gate and the higher pit passes. They are running off a DIESEL generator down there. With the current cost of diesel, that goes towards the overhead on race night. Plus they know their concession sales will suffer without being able to sell beer, so again, it goes towards the gate. I think the drivers will show up. It is a good facility. Give it a chance. You all have doomed it, and they haven't even opened yet.

Moon I'm just living in reality find one person on this board to say wow those are great ideas I really think this is going to work ,I raced in that area full time for two years an I'm telling you there economy can't support it maybe in California or New York but not western Kentucky

I go back again and ask, with a $15 cover, what about allowing families to bring in coolers? It works in Southern Indiana, why not W. Ky.? They have full grandstands, families are happy, and there are still long lines at the concessions.

I emailed them regarding the cooler situation. You are allowed to bring a small cooler in with a beverage of your choice. So that will save any beer drinker the couple dollars extra it cost to get in.

Really? Very cool... good move for KLMS. Allowing coolers like Haubstadt
