Rusty at Lake Hill

When Rusty Wallace returned to Missouri, he began driving for Charlie Chase, who used to compete with Rusty at Lake Hill. With Mike and Kenny and Paul Andrews, another mechanic at the vacuum shop, Rusty and Chase built a Hamilton-style modified dirt car. It was so successful that the team started their own business, the “Poor Boy Chassis Company” of Desperes MO. Andrews was the first full-time employee.
