"The Renegade 100" originally set for Nov 16-20th in Okeechobee Florida, due to hurricane damages has been reset for "Speedweeks" Feb 2-6th!!The new site will be announced next week after "Track Closing" papers are to be completed by new owners! www.2nrz.biz/FLRacer.htm will be updated then.
The race paying $10,000 for Tenth and $30 G to win has had some new incentives thrown in by some big sponsors!! Any pre-entered cars(or those pre-entered by Nov 20th original race date) can qualify for $10,000 JUST TO START..by making this Feb 2-6th ( 24 car field), and turning around Dec (2005) and again making the next "Renegade 100" to be held during the PRI Show thats moving from Indy to Florida nezt season!!
Another sponsor is kicking in $10,000 for some "Lucky Dog" Team that fails to make the show!!! They must be pre-entered by Jan 10th!
The site is only 35 minutes from Volusia Speedway, running their speedweeks 8-14, while East Bay runs theirs 15-19th. 17 days of Modified Madness!!
