2004 STREET STOCK TOP DOG RULES
CAR:
1. No clip cars, station wagons, convertibles or pickups
2. Minimum stock wheelbase 101"
3. Minimum weight after race for 3200 pounds
ENGINES
1. GM in GM, Ford in Fords.
2. Engine may be set back. Upper ball joint in line with #1 spark plug hole.
3. All engines must have case iron Block.
4. All engines must have 1 unaltered intake.
5. Dome's pistons ok.
6. The cylinder heads must be completely case iron. Any evidence of porting or polishing, relieving, grinding or the addition of material to the combustion chamber of the heads or intake or exhaust runners will cause your heads to be declared illegal. Screw in studs & guide plates or allowed.
7. OEM, Dart, Bowtie or other case iron hi-performance or after market heads.
8. Any HEI, Dual Point, NSD,s Ignition's.
9. Roller rocker arms OK.
10. All engines are subject to tear down by technical inspector at driver's expense.
CARBURETOR
1. 2 barrel or 4 barrel carburetor's 750 CFM Holley allowed. (will be gauged).
FRAMES AND UNIBODY
1. All frames and unibody structures must remain absolutely O.F.M. factory produced.
SUSPENSION
1. One shock per wheel. Racing shocks allowed.
2. All springs must mount in stock location. Spring Size is Optional.
3. Wedge-bolts allowed.
TIRES AND WHEELS
1. All cars may run Hoosier, McCreary, tires, Or any street tire DOT approved. On 10" rim.
2. May run bead lock wheel on right side only!
3. Lug nuts must be a minimum of 1", studs 1/2" minimum.
4. All tire brands and models must be approved by Technical Inspector.
BRAKES
1. Cars must have functional brakes on all four wheels.
EXHAUST
1. Full length header.
2. Exhaust must exit behind firewall.
DRIVE TRAIN
1. No Berts, Brinns TRANSMISSIONS.
2. All cars must have working reverse.
3. Must have inspection hole for Torque Converter or Clutch. No Aluminum Flywheel.
4. 360 degree driveshaft hoop in mandatory, installed on forward third of driveshaft.
5. Driveshaft must be steel and stock for that car. Driveshaft must be painted white.
6. Rear ends may be substituted provided track width is not altered.
7. Ford 9" rear ends allowed.
8. No Quick Change rear ends.

1. Fuel must be gasoline only.
