Im looking forward to the extra money just to start. Let alone getting up there and fighting for the win.

Car counts will probably still be pretty low because they have spent a great deal of the year pissing off drivers and fans.

Yea latemodels, the one class that should have an increased purse. Lol and they wonder why the locals would rather drive 100-150 miles to race.

But they're only getting 6-8 late models weekly so why should they have an increased purse when they already pay $600 to win?

That sort of thinking is exactly why they have have 6-8 late models weekly.

The track is responsible for attracting cars...when a track cuts purses and tells the teams they will up the pay when more show up, that puts the responsibility on the teams which is unfair.

Yep, lack of respect to me and the class I choose to run, at least try and entice me to come run! Surprised callaway gets as many as they do. But callaway is built for multiple lane racing and is on Fridays. The lake is one lane flattrack racing with anything other than sprints, so a double
Whammy there when there are
Other tracks on Saturday we can run and get paid decent.
Next year they might have a good chance if they up the purse and get ULMA sanction since central Missouri is closing at the end of the season. The owners are retiring.

LOS actually raised the payout in every class this year, and also lowered admission prices, so they Are doing everything they can to bring in cars and fans, they just need to prepare a better track and they will be fine. Hope a lot of people show up for the added purse this weekend.

And they are still missing the respect part. The track surface has ****ed all year, the officials are routinely making bad calls, management has their head up their asses, an the entry fee's for pit passes have stayed the same and payout to only the winner went up.

I don't like it when I get cussed out by an official, I don't like when rough drivers pay no consequences for taking out other cars, I don't like a track so rough or so slick and dusty either the car breaks things from the ruts or you can't see the steering wheel because of the dust forcing drivers to pull off and give up to save the car for another day. I also don't like the general white trash attitude I got when I tried to bring up these concern to the power at be over a phone conversation. Apparently neither do many others cause the car counts are falling , the crowds are falling, an word is getting around. Want more proof, just look at the Face Book page on any given week and watch the complaints fill it up. Then you watch em take em all down cause they don't like the bad PR.

I hope Tammy and Kevin get to come back some day. I do love the facility and the way they ran things at LOS and Tri-City.

I'll have to second that one of hoping Kevin and Tammy get back to running things there. I used to like the way that track was run but now, it's not worth the 2 1/2 hour tow to get there. There are too many other closer tracks to go too.
