Aara officials, crappy calls

RacesRaces...
I thought I was the only one who saw that...makes you go hummmmmm, doesn't it.! No the YELLOW was NOT out when Herzog crashed into the back the slower car.... BUT if he had been sent to the back he would have just stopped on the front straight and talked to his Buddy Don to get it his postion back..!

as all of you know I'm not a fan of AARA but the corner worker told the driver to pull in, in turns 1&2 it just so happend he pulled down right in front of Jeff leaving him nowhere to go. Not Jeffs fault the corner worker never saw Jeff coming. the corner worker did tell the driver to pull down. Blame the corner worker for that one not AARA. Don't see how telling a car to cut off Jeff would be favortizum, Jeff almost got his sht torn up because of a car pulling down during a race and not just staying up top untill the yellow came out. Hech it seems standerd practice for a driver to make his own caution by just sitting up top. Since when did a driver start listing to the officials?

jimmy i wasnt trying to dish u but u know how the nas r,ur a he-l of a driver,i sent u a pm sorry if u think im dishing u.

i agree with mamma drew, that was a close call, ill give it to the off the were at the corners, but herzog was going back to the front, fast car,the 57 i wish didnt have a broken shock,he was bas fast as well, well done guys

My turn!!! first off why run a series if you can be there??? This has been going on all year with you damn sportsman drivers!!! Its a joke everytime there is a big race there is a big post crying!!!!!!!!The only one i see that dont cry is Herzog and he is kicking your guy's a11.If nobody like allied and there rules grow a set of b$lls and do something about it... This is everyweek with the sportsman and you guy's are getting as bad as me and the 24 team and fan arguing... COME ON NOW:cool::cool::cool:

Ok so for one it's racing, of course you don't want to tear your stuff up but it's going to happen. If your too scarred then why race. Second it doesn't matter if the official flagged him off. Herzog got held up and shouldn't of gotten his spot back. Just like if It were lapped traffic that would of held him back. Should they of stopped the race and put lapped cars in the back. No. Although for Jeff Herzog it wouldn't supprise me! And I'm not saying he's not a good driver. If that caution wouldn't of happened then he would of one fair. And Harris was doing a great job and catching him in the corners. Idk what could of happened if his schock haddent broken. As far talking to allied about their favorites. People have. They don't care. They get paid no matter who wins so why not make sure their buddies do. Paquet, Harris, Eillers, and Cummins are all young boys. Herzog is what 30-35. they don't have the experience or the money herzog has and their still kickin butt. It's okay to be young and good. And I have seen herzog pile over them too at times and it's still okay for him.

Thanks to all of the people that worked hard to get sponsors that paid for the show. As cold as it was there was not a lot of fans. No complaints here, just saw some good racing in all three classes.

Hey dumb *** you think the president of UMP is at everySingle race that is running a UMP race on a weekly basis back off dean he does his series out of the money he makes at work out of his own pocket! He doesn't have to but he is a nice enough guy to give a **** about the local sportsmen class! The money HE GIVES out at the end of the year REMEMBER OUT OF HIS POCKET is a good chunk of money. I've never seen so many people from year to year botching about 1 man trying to provide a FUN racing series for the sportsmen drivers and pay them decent money WHEN HE DOESNT HAVE TOO!!! He could stop if he wanted too but he cares about the game

i would like to thank Dean for putting on the extreme series, allied for giving us a chance to race for some money, and pevely for giving us a pretty good track to race on.

i think people confuse stating my opinion for whining. i sometimes have to look at what is smarter, running 50 laps on my engine and tires, risking getting in a wreck, and wasting fuel, or making the show and getting start money.

It doesnt come out of my pocket... I just hand it out.

second chance for a green... Jeff Herzog jumps Trey Harris.... GUESS WHAT....AWAY WE GO GREEN FLAG....Herzog leads green to checkered... WTH was up with that... It wasn't ok for Trey to jump but it was ok for Herzog?
After reviewing the video I taped for the show from my location on top of the tower and behind the flagman it is clear that both Herzog and Harris were dead EVEN at the white line and Herzog had half a car lead at the flagman
The statement about Herzog getting a jump just isn't true

Dean wont say this but I will . It is harvest season. Dean has worked for 21 days straight and is working almost 100 hours in a seven day period. He didnt even get off work until 7:30 on Saturday. Pretty good reason if you ask me.

To the Rob Lee situation, dont ***** about it unless you new what happened. I, Jon Ripperda, went down after the 2nd hornet semi to check the board for the 3rd or 4th time. The board had Lee in the show. Now after the hornet 2nd semi was over that is 2 races before the 3rd sportsman semi because i was in that semi. I was on the board to start on the pole of that semi and Jimmy cummins was on the board out there to start in the 2nd semi. When I pulled out on the track I started outside front row and Jimmy was in my semi. I new then something got messed up and didnt know what was happening but whatever i ran my butt off to make the show. After i pulled off i pulled in and the Lee crew was ready to kill. Now I seen it myself that had him in the show. When you go in the stands to watch the semis and they call you out there, its over your not gonna make it. So thats that. Dean, thank you so much for the Series. I couldnt of had more fun running that series and will do it as long as you have it. Jeff Herzog, Congrats, dominate from the start of the nite, hands down the fastest all nite. I myself loved the nite of racing and enjoy the challenge of that race. Tons of tough cars and competion and happy i made the feature. Yea I tore up the car pretty bad and ruined 3 tires on the nite and burned about 12 gallons of fuel, But would do it again in a minute. Had a blast! Thanks A.A,R.A for the great racing for the of support classes and the chance at winning some big money.

Jimmy if ur so worried bout getting that new car tore up. Leave it in the garage at home. U chose to build a sportsman for 20k and now u complain when it gets tore up in a 50 lap race. Next time ur worried bout the money stay home u can't tear it up there.

Well said Mr Ripperda......I look forward to this race every year, unfortunately I couldn't make it through the makeup feature to even have a shot at making the fall nationals show but its just a great time being at this race. Thanks again to Mike M, Don H, and the rest of allied for getting this thing together for the support classes. There is not another race in the country like this for the support classes.

i think its safe to say all racers (at least the saturday night guys) worry about getting their stuff tore up. i dont care what race you are in, chances of winning enough money to replace what gets tore up is practically non-existent. there only so many times you can lose money, and have to fix/replace something expensive, then the car sets at home while you set in the stands, or grab the fishin pole instead of racing. thats no fun, so a smart guy is aware of that, and treats his stuff accordingly. i know jimmy well enough to know that he fits that criteria. some of these other guys, im not so sure. you just cant be stupid and be a successful racer, at any level.its just not possible.
