Albright reclaims the thrown at Clarksville Speedway

Late Model – Sponsored by Budweiser of Clarksville The pace was set early in the night as current points leader Carnell Parker (75) set fastest time at 12.40. The track was totally hooked up tonight! Heat #1 ran smoothly as Arville Pittman (53) takes the first win of the night. Heat #2 was led by Joseph Linguaer (28) all the way to victory lane. The Dash leader was long time fan favorite (F14) Gary Frost. Albright (1) leads the first seven laps with Steven Ashby (16) hot on his heels and Mike Chandler (51) trailing not far behind. Lap seven Darrell Brown (33T) jumps up to second, but Ashby soon takes it from him. Leading every lap Albright finally reclaims the thrown with his first win in several weeks.


Open Wheel – Sponsored by Wyatt Johnson Fastest time was set by David Flowers (99) at 14.400. During Heat #1 Flowers led every lap. Flowers in every lap led the feature race. Hot on his heels was Charles Zimmerman (93 all the way until lap seven where Gil Smith (7X) battles for second. During lap eleven Ben Shearon (7) takes over second place while David Flowers takes the checkered flag.


Mini Sprint – Sponsored by Clarksville Disposal Heat #1 had many driver changes. Lap one and two was led by Dwayne Emberton (43) taking over lap three and for was Ed Mummert (17) then taking over the led to finfish as the first winner was Chris Hunter (26). The second Heat was a battle for first and second place as Race Neeley (14R) and Lynn Ambrose (36) duke it out until the last lap as Ambrose takes the checkered flag. Fourteen Sprints grace the clay oval as they roll out for the feature. Leading every lap all the way to victory lane would be Chris Hunter (26) and taking second place during the last two laps was Ronnie Ambrose (44).


Pro Street – Setting fast time at 14.517 and letting the crowd know that it would be his night to shine was Brian Caudle (RC1) Heat #1 Leading every lap was Brian Caudle taking second place was Tyrone Dossett (44). Heat #2 also leading every lap was Roy Brewington (34) and taking second place was #(11L) Larry Hamm. The feature consisted of thirteen cars. Leading every lap all the way to victory lane was Brian Caudle. Finishing second place was Larry Barber (T54).


Street Stock –Heat # 1 leading every lap was Mike Neighbors (77). Battling out for second place was Don Everett (9) and Dorris McCord (45) but McCord’s lets the crowd know who is boss Heat #2 with his only win of the night was Dale Phillips (87). Winning second place was Mike Neighbors (77). Feature time was pretty consistent as Mike Neighbors and Neal Grisham lead the pack to victory lane. Watch out Street Stock drivers it looks like Neal is going for the next checkered win!


Mini Modified – Sponsored by Lester Ellis Plumbing Consisted of one Heat race. Taking the checkered flag and leading every lap was Thomas Clinard (55). Finishing second place was Ronnie Richardson (15)
Feature time rolls around as Charles Newberry (23) leads every lap but was disqualified as his car didn’t weight enough making Ronnie Richardson out first place winner. Finishing second was Brian Smith (13X).

Pure Mini – The Heat race winner was Daryl Johnson (D 1). Feature winner was also Johnson and taking second place was Michael Rittenberry (5).
