American Modified Series Mod Squad Bash Set for Bluegrass Speedway on May 15

Glasgow, KY-May 6, 2010- After a week off and a weekend of race action halted by inclement weather, the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will return to competition on Saturday May 15 with its sanction of the 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash event at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY, paying $1,500 and pay $200 to start.

On Saturday May 15, Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY will host the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner in a program that will feature a full evening of practice, A-B group qualifying, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash A-Main. Joining the American Modified Series in action on Saturday May 15 at Bluegrass Speedway will be the track’s Super Late Model and UMP Sportsman divisions.

Activities for the May 15 Bluegrass Speedway date will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:00 p.m., with practice set for 6:30 p.m. A-B group qualifying time trials will begin at 7:00 p.m., with racing set to begin at or before 8:00 p.m. All times are EDT. Ticket prices for this event will be $15 for adults, children ages 6 to 12 will be $8, with children ages 5 and under free, and $30 for pit pass access to the pit area.

The A-Main purse for the Saturday May 15 Bluegrass Speedway events is as follows: 1st- $1,500, 2nd- $1,000, 3rd- $800, 4th- $700, 5th- $600, 6th- $575, 7th- $550, 8th- $525, 9th- $500, 10th- $400, 11th- $350, 12th- $300, 13th- $275, 14th- $250, 15th through 24th- $200 to start.

Bluegrass Speedway is a ½ mile high-banked clay oval promoted by David and Anita Ferrell.
