Glasgow, KY-June 17, 2010- The American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will return to Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY on Saturday June 26 for the 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash that will pay $1,500 to win and $200 to start. This event was originally scheduled for May 15 and was rained out just as practice was set to begin with 37 entries signed in for competition.
On Saturday June 26, the rescheduled 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash will take place at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY as the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present a full program that will feature practice, SPEC Race Engines A-B group qualifying, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash A-Main. Joining the American Modified Series presented by Force and Fuel and Engine Conditioner in action on Saturday June 26 at Bluegrass Speedway will be the track’s Super Late Model (racing topless) and UMP Sportsman divisions.
Activities for the June 26 Bluegrass Speedway date will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will also open at 5:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:00 p.m., with practice set for 6:30 p.m., followed by SPEC Race Engines A-B group qualifying at 7:00 p.m., with racing set to begin at or before 8:00 p.m. All times listed are EDT. General admission ticket prices for this event will be $15 and a pit pass will be $30. Also of note, rainchecks and pit passes from the May 15 rainout will be honored at this event.
