CLARKSVILLE, TN – Jimmy Smith Racing Tires, the Southeastern distributor for American Racer Tires through has continued its involvement as a point fund sponsor for the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series. American Racer Tires will be adding money to both the series National Tour, and the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series for the 2006 season.
“We want to thank Jimmy Smith and American Racer Tires for continuing their involvement by providing the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series with a generous donation to the 2006 point funds for both the National Tour and the Weekly Racing Series,” Series Director Mike Vaughn said. “They are the first major racing tire brand this season to sign up for a point fund sponsorship program.”
Vaughn said Jimmy Smith and American Racer Tires have been huge supporters of the series over the past two seasons when it began last season as Crate Racin’ USA.
“Jimmy Smith and American Racer Tires has been a supporter of this series since day one, and they are well-represented among our competitors,” Vaughn said. “I know they all appreciate them giving back to the sport, and their enthusiasm for the series.”
The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series 2006 Rulebook permits two different American Racer Tire compounds to compete, the 44 and 56 Spec. The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series does allow all race tire brands with selected compounds to compete.
