CHILLICOTHE, OHIO-Jeff and Vicki Schrader's K-C Raceway and the AMRA are ready to kick off the 2010 racing season in grand style, Saturday, April 10. Spring is just around the corner along with the 57th annual racing season on the high banks of Jeff and Vicki Schrader's K-C Raceway near Chillicothe, Ohio. K-C will also hold a Test-and-Tune session April 3 at 10 a.m.

The "Road Warrior Challenge" of the AMRA brings many of the best open-wheel modified drivers to one race track for a potent purse and the right to compete for "Road Warrior Challenge" points. The best names in modified racing will be in the pits for the season opening event. The "Road Warrior Challenge" schedule will see racing at K-C Raceway, Beckley Motorsports Park, I-77 Motorsports Park, Tyler County Speedway, Skyline Speedway, and Eastside Speedway in Virginia.

Rules clarifications include that AMRA modifieds run Hoosier Tires. AMRA Late Models run an open Tire rule. 410 sprint cars must run two rear Goodyear Tires as per the Goodyear 410 sprint series rules, and to be eligible for the free tire certificate program sprint cars must run all four Goodyears.

In the Hobby Stock division Mr. Schrader has indicated that NO soft tires are allowed-Stamped Medium and Hard compounds only with no tire treatments acceptable. Tire durometers will check hardness of the tires to keep an even playing field. Also, either “clear” or “Aluminum” spoilers are now allowed in the Hobby Stock division.
