Just wondered if anyone heard how Wernle or Belken have done so far.
 
I haven't heard much...but:

96 cars took time.

8 heats were ran tonight.

the track was extremely dusty.

NASCAR Busch Series star David Reutimann from Florida cleaned house in his heat...winnnig by a straight away and lapping all but 5 cars in that heat. Fasted car there so far.
 
I talked to Steve Maisel about 11 am Saturday. He was the fastest qualifier from the area. He qualified 9th. As of this morning, no one from the area made the mains.

I was hoping to get an update by now. I'll try calling Steve again.
