I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this car, I was told it was raced in Illinios a couple of years ago, Im mainly just looking for the make of this car. This is the only current picture I have of the car, but later today I was going to snap some pics of the bare frame. Any help anyone could give me about finding the make of this car would be awesome.

Thanks

It kind of looks like steve's old chip morgan chassis but I cant find any pictures of that, but I will try and let you know

This is not a Evolution Chassis by Chip. His cars have a EV-date-car# welded to the left side like a GRT. Check it out.

I talked to Steve this is his old car it was purchased from Chip Morgan by Rick Freake. This car used to run as a B-Mod at Granit city it was an old Pepsi Cola Car. This was before the Evolution stuff. I could get some more info about the chassis if you want. Steve sold it to a guy named George he also sold a Dirtworks and a Nullynski chassis to the same guy. It did have a feature win in the last year Steve raced it at Highland.

Any info would be great, i got the roof out today and it had impressions of a sticker of the last driver

Carl Finder III

has a sponsor decal on the drivers side panel

Gary D. Meier
O.D. F.A.A.O
Collinsville, IL

if this helps any, like i said i was just wanting to know what type of chassis it is and maybe talk with someone about it, if possible. Thanks for all the help guys

This car also came with a blue Bob Pierce over slung car, looks to be an older one and again no numbers on the frame but compared to my friends pierce that has frame numbers and this one it is for sure a Pierce or a real good copy, the owner i bought these from said he bought both these cars from the same guy if that helps.

Well I am not sure about the Pierce car, but the one in the pic is Steve Ellison's old car. It was purchased from Chip Morgan. It is a Chip Morgan chassis before Evolution. Gary Meier was one of Steve's sponsors. Carl Finder must have raced the car after Steve. It has been about 6 years since Steve had sold that chassis. So I am not really sure how many owners it has had since.

Thanks, I was just trying to provide as much info as i could, so it there any way to find out what year of Chip Morgan chassis it is?

Got a message from Aj @ Evolution and this is not one of Chip's cars, here are some pictures of the frame and for got to post last week. Thanks for the help.

If there are NO numbers anywhere, it could have been built from a jig of another car. If someone has a similar looking car, I'm sure they will speak up...

What is it exactly your trying to find out? Chip may not have built that car, but he knows that setup better than anybody and im sure you could pay him to set it up.

You right i could probably pay him or anyone else to set it up, not really looking for set up help. Just wanting some information on it, like who built, what year it is, if there is anywhere to get a motor plate (23 7/8 bolt hole to bolt hole) call me crazy i just like to know what i have, really regretting buying it as it seems to be a mystery chassis and ive had to cut a **** load of bars out of it to get it anywhere close to being light, strong, and straight.

Crazy, weld in some new tabs & put in a light weight mid plate where you want it. If I remember right it was a older car when Steve drove it 6 years ago it might be a little chubby, but worked decent. You could always wait 6 more yars and vintage race it....... Im kidding
