Are there rain date plans for WOO races this week?

I understand it is early, however with ticket sales already happening and the travel of teams and fans. Plus the channel 2 weather team calling for rain already. Just wondering if any plans are in place.

The has been too much work and effort put in to this race to let it fall to shower. Weather channel, Accuweather TV channel 2,4,5,11 all calling for rain. Is there any hope of a reschedule or are we just screwed.

Last I saw, they're calling for a 60% chance. Maybe the Friday before Pevely's date is cursed. Granite got rained out last year for the Friday show. I booked it to Belleville and caught the modified and late model features once it was called.

Really hope they get this one in!

Don,lets not wait till it rains to discuss options. Lets be proactive. Call world dirt group tell them we have a chance of rain Will you be willing to race on Sunday. Not sure about differing forecasts, they all say it is going to rain. Just how much is maybe the only differing opinion. Please run this race at all costs.

The only thing with running on Sunday, the 16th is flea market weekend at the exposition hall and the parking lot is usually pretty full. It probably could be pulled off but the races would have to start at the usual 7:00p.m. start time to allow the flea market people to vacate the hall and the parking lot. I don't know about the city noise ordinance if it has an earlier curfew on Sundays or not, and how that would affect a Sunday night show. Lot of things for the man in charge to go through, not an easy task , that's for sure. Hopefully the weather people will be wrong again and we can get er done as scheduled. If not, hope for Sunday.

I understand the proactive approach since this is a huge event. Just keep in mind none of the weather forecasts have included a forecast for Belleclair speedway! With a little faith, and some persuading from Photobilly upstairs we will get in this awesome show! I have been to many races where it rained most of the day. Track can be groomed in a way to absorb more water and then pack it after rain is done. I've seem that done by plowing up track day before, let rain fall and then pack.

Another idea would be to move the PhotoBilly 50 race to i55 and move to the modified class since late models are slated for 55 lapper. Just some thoughts and a whole lot of praying.

Belleville will run Sunday if necessary..

Jimmy, do you know what the tentative times will be for Sunday? There will be a lot going on in Belleville with Scott AFB's air show, the flea market, and a WoO show. Hopefully they get it in Friday!

Based on the weather on Channel 2, the weather is looking more positive. Hopefully, that front comes thought on Thursday and we don't have to worry about moisture. However, it will be turning cooler and you will need a jacket both nights.

It appears the the weather forecast is getting better each day. Now it is looking like a light moisture for Thursday night into Friday morning then clearing. Just think positive for a Friday go.
