Collierville, TN (08/11/10) – Ashley Newman conquered Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) in his #73 Tucker Motorsports/Parts Plus/Valvoline/Larry Shaw Race Car/Dynotech Racing Engine Open Wheel for the second time in 2010 on Saturday night
Saturday night was another successful outing for Ashley and the team as they entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Riverside International Speedway. After winning his heat race to earn the pole position for the 15 lap feature event, Ashley chased fellow front row starter Tony Anglin for the first two laps. On the second circuit, Newman would take over the spot and would never look back en route to the feature win, which marked his eighth triumph of 2010. This weekend the team plans to enter one event as they travel to Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee for a Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday, August 14th. They will be looking to do some testing for the upcoming Open Wheel Modified special event on the facility in late August.
