We are adding St. Stocks and Sportsman as a combined class (running together)

St. Stocks will run under the current Tri City rules and Sportsman will run under I-55 Rules

Weight
St. Stock 3000
Sportsman 3200

Tire Rule
Current tire rule you run now at Tri City and I-55

There will be NO other rule changes!!!!!!!

Attention Drivers: Please do not get on here a bash or comment about combining the classes or
rules. We would like to try this and go from there. It is something were trying.

If you plan on running will you please post you will be there on the 25th.

Attention Tri City St. Stock driver's you will receive your normal points.
Example if a current St. Stock driver's runs 2nd he will receive 1st place points and so on.
This way combining the classes doesn't effect your weekly points for year end banquet.

We would like to do what we can to help with car counts and let driver's be able to race if
possible.

Thank you
Kevin

Good 1st step KG. I think it would be a good idea to eventually merge the class rules wise. DON"T COMPLICATE IT though. Go street stock motor rules on a sportsman chassis. That would be a good feeder for Bmods. It would give them experience with Chassis/suspension adjustments that would help if they move to Bmods. Right now sportsman and bmod money is too close as far as getting into one. The street stock motor would help separate that some and may bring sportsman back to a thriving division. JMO

Not to be bash or anything but with the sportsmen weight at 3000 for I-55. I don't know if to many guys will add 200 pounds to the car just to take it off for Saturday. I would like to race there again with 1 of my cars if we can get closer on the weight.

I agree Swappin Paint. Mentioned the same thing to Allied. It would be great if TCS and I55 both did that. 2 low car count classes that could make one good one.
