Austin Hubbard entered the $5,100-to-win, United Late Model Series (ULMS) event at Pennsylvania's Pittsburgh Motor Speedway (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night, and would narrowly escape a terrible wreck with only minor injuries.
On the first lap of the feature another competitor forced Hubbard into a yuke tire, which resulted in an extremely hard impact for the driver of the #11 Hubbard Motorsports entry. He would suffer a bad concussion as well as a few other bumps and bruises. Luckily his injuries appeared to not be too severe, and he was held overnight on Saturday for observation at the hospital.
Austin and everyone at Hubbard Motorsports would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers after this scary accident.
