AWESOME racing at Belle-Clair

I had never been to Belle-Clair until last night and I was blown away at how quick the late models got around there. I was skeptical at first, thought it'd be a jumbled up mess with lots of torn up equipment. But I was dead wrong! The racing was awesome and I plan on going back there again. The Photo Billy 50 was an amazing event and I hope this can be an every year thing. Congrats to Brandon Sheppard, he was definitely the man to beat last night!

man that was some great racing last night bcs and the fact that it took 4 heats be fore a woo even won a heat was incredible curt bennidict deserves a a lot of credit as well as donnie h the track was great all night long 3 wide racing this is an event i will circle on my calender every year and the rocket shepp gettin that track record

I agree completely Curt did a great job on the track. BC came up big for a big event even food line weren't bad. Kreke but on a great show for us locals until he broke & to see the track record broken multiple times was unbelievable. Just a great night for BC & to Donnie & crew well done. When the LM gave the fans the 4 wide I don't if the rest of the BC faithful got goose bumps but I sure did. Hope BC can make it an annual event, if not it's a night all the faithful BC will remember & talk about. Congrads to Brendan Shep for breaking Moyer's strangle hold on STL events. He was lighting FRi night.

That was a great race with the World of Outlaws. I vote we get another chase next year to hae this event. That was one of the best nights of racing in this area in a long time. 52 Late Models trying to make the feature.

Everybody I talked to Saturday that was there agreed that that was the best show they have seen in a while.

I was impressed with how well the show seemed to flow. Everyone did a great job...officials, Curt B, Don H, and the drivers. I think the best "show" I saw Friday night was Dean Hoffman making a charge. Great night of racing in all classes.

Little disappointed in somethings but all and all it was a good show.
Great run for T-Mac, starting 24th and finishing 8th!

There were so many highlights and yes the show kept moving pretty well I agree! I hear the Outlaw folks were very happy with the experience here. I was standing at the banking of the track and saw a lot of eyes rolling when the drivers walked up for the first time ever. There was a lot of head shaking and a lot of set up changing going on in the pit area. I spoke with several of the late models drivers and thanked them for coming to the first ever Photobilly 50 event and asked if they personally knew my cousin Billy. I only found 1 who said "no sir I didn't be I hear from everyone else how dedicated of a race fan he was!" Some even said they were coming no matter what the race paid, just to pay respects to Billy. One told me he couldn't come to the funeral but when he heard about the race, he changed his plans to race his late model for Billy.

BelleClair did an awesome job and it should definitely be an annual event!!!!!

We could even add an event named after Mike Meurer, the worlds best announcer. "Meurer Million Lap Mod event". Mike always joked about how many hundreds of laps were left in some of the pure stock features just to see if the fans were still listening. Mike Muerer Modified Mega event? Just thinking out loud.

My cousin Billy would have been so thrilled that all those people came and raced in his honor and 52 late models would have him very busy getting photos, autographs and talking to all those outlaw guys!

My family is very proud of the person Billy Haffer was and thankful that nobody got hurt in his event. To all who sacraficed for this event in any way. THANK YOU!

ENTIRE BILLY HAFFER FAMILY

My 14 year old son even came up with a fun thought! He said dad wouldn't it be cool if they created a new World of Outlaw dirt racing game and added BelleClair Speedway on it and a race named Photobilly 50!???

I also met all the World of Outlaw officials and they were very professional. One I talked with was very close to Billy for several years.

Please bring this show back yearly.
I was thinking the same thing.
What would be considered to early to lobby for a second annual Photobilly 50?
Should I call my local Politician as it is an election year?
I'm with Jack in saying that everyone I talked to loved it.
