Ed Dixon had a left rear tire go flat a few laps in the race he came in. His pit crew changed the tire and he got out there just in time to catch the green flag a whole batchsretch behind everyone else he picked his way up to the front and on the last corner got the lead and won the race. He had the whole place standing for him. How could you not be a Dixon fan after that. great job!!!!!!
 
Dixon is the man at I-55........... Congrats to Ed and crew for making it a night that I wont forget......... Also thank you for your time to come out for the junior fan club and take my son around the track in your car.... He will never forget either.......
 
Way to go Ed!!

It was a memorable evening watching Ed. He was like his old self going from last to first in 17 laps! Ed has always been amazing to watch.. his driving skills always make me go WOW!!! there were a lot of people clapping when he pulled into the pits where we were sitting.... but... there was alot more yelling and clapping when he came back out and won the race. :D :D :D :) :) :p

YES THERE WAS AND THAT MAKES ME :mad: TO HEAR THAT STUFF. PEOPLE ARE LUCKY TO GET TO SEE SUCH A LEGEND RACE WEEK AFTER WEEK. AFTER HEARING THAT, IT MADE HIS WIN EVEN THAT MUCH MORE AWESOME!
 
I shouted "561 feature wins boys, you'll have plenty of time to boo him later, don't worry!" to the people who clapped when he spun and pulled off. Boy, you should've seen their faces when he won.....total dejection!! It was great!!

Fantastic drive by Ed Dixon, that was vintage for sure. Good job handling a rough track!!
 
Ed Dixon- People either love him or hate him. How can you not love him after what he did on Saturday night? Ed is one of the most entertaining drivers I have ever seen! He always gives 110%. ROCK ON, ED!
 
First off GREAT JOB DIXON, and second I thought it was funny when he spun out and he had his flat the fans in the Grandstands were clapping and cheering THEN, he started passing people i thought he would get top 10, Then i was in shock i thought he would get top 5, Then maybe stay in the second spot, And i was at my feet and clapping like everyone else in the stands when he took the lead and Won. The announcer is VERY right thats why MR. DIXON is in the HALL OF FAME. Congrats Mr. Dixon
 
Impressive run by Dixon ! I would have loved to seen if he could have passed Steffens if Kyle didn't have that fuel problem . The #8 was checking out on Faust , I think he pulled out about 6 car links until the fuel line broke.

What can I say Ed? Other than that your Awesome and with a broken wrist on top of it! Ed truely does deserve that Hall of Fame spot!~
 
He truley put on a CLINIC!!!! Nice clean charge to the front.. Love him or hate him you have to RESPECT a drive like that :) Congratulations !!!!!
 
lemme guess, everyone was running middle to bottom and he was flyin on the high side using the rail as a cushion when needed?

How can you not like a guy when they let it hang out on a regular basis like he does?
