Anyone know whats going on at Belleville race track??? They r working right outside turn 3 with a backhoe removing dirt?????

maybe UMP is paying to take care of the sewer plant problem that effected Fegers tires @ summernationals, Ok for local guy to have that problem & get disqualified & suspended but when happens to one of their guys & they have to skirt the issue so nothing happens, that's different!!!!!!!!!!!!! wink, wink

There is a lot of usable dirt gathered between the walls of the racetrack and the chainlink fences surrounding it. My guess is Curt and Don have made a decision to put this usable dirt back on the racetrack where it started with before our favorite drivers threw it over the fence.

from what Curt said Scotty you are correct. supposed to do it all the way around to put the dirt back on the track. should help out a bunch

I heard their gonna replace the wall that were put up pre WW II...Any truth to it?

Personally dirtboy I hope they never get rid of the wooden walls. They are part of the charm of the old gal, even though the down side is when a section gets taken out 3/4 of an hour are gone. But anyway she may be old but she aged well, kind of like us old car guys pinup gal, Miss Hurst Shifter, Linda Vaughn. Saw her on Barrett-Jackson a while back. Not bad.

You know your right... If that wall woulda been concrete at the beginning of the year when Matt hit it it woulda for sure been a different out come. Something are better left unchanged imo
